Brief History
Page Sequoiaway Mining Review began in 2018 when two former industrial maintenance technicians in Daegu started documenting which ASIC models arriving at Korean hosting sites could actually be serviced locally. Early clients were small farms in North Gyeongsang Province frustrated by hash boards sitting in customs while distributors claimed stock existed overseas.
By 2020 we formalized the spare parts trace methodology: every report lists part numbers confirmed through distributor callbacks, not manufacturer brochures alone. We expanded depot verification in Suseong-gu and began publishing field notes for operators who maintain fleets above the 0.05 TH/s threshold where part wear becomes a recurring cost.
Today we serve hosting operators, mid-size farms, and buyers evaluating secondary-market hardware. We remain independent—we do not sell machines or parts, and we do not take referral fees from distributors we cite.
Our Approach
We visit warehouses, photograph packaging and revision labels, and record lead times in writing. Assessments happen on live equipment because idle cold units hide fan bearing noise and thermal paste degradation. Reports use plain language so your night-shift technician can stock the right spares without decoding marketing sheets.
